my favorite post-workout smoothie
recipe from “The Clean Plate” by Gwyneth Paltrow
A good smoothie always puts me in the best mood! I discovered this recipe a few years back (in one of Gwyneth Paltrow’s cookbooks) and recently revisited. It’s a unique, but addicting, combination. I’ll usually whip one up I get home from a workout but also enjoy it as a mid-day pick me up!
Ingredients
4 ice cubes
1/2 cup frozen cauliflower rice
1/2 cup frozen wild blueberries
1 spoonful almond butter
1 scoop protein powder of your choice (I like this one)
2 pitted medjool dates
1 1/2 cup almond milk
juice of 1 lime
Instructions
layer ingredients in your blender by weight (heaviest on the bottom, lightest on the top, and liquid last).
blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
